﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><rss version="2.0"><channel><title>MIJ_Miki's Xanga</title><link>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/</link><description>Latest Xanga weblog from MIJ_Miki</description><language>en-us</language><ttl>60</ttl><image><title>The Weblog Community</title><url>http://s.xanga.com/images/xangalogobutton.gif</url><link>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/</link></image><item><title>3.141592653589</title><link>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/576926068/3141592653589/</link><guid>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/576926068/3141592653589/</guid><pubDate>Thu, 15 Mar 2007 00:19:16 GMT</pubDate><description>&lt;P&gt;That's how far I remember.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Happy Pi Day, folks.&amp;nbsp; Let's use this commemorative date to bring back xanga.&amp;nbsp; No, but seriously I was shocked when I logged onto this thing after about a 5 minute gap, for it's&amp;nbsp;been upgraded&amp;nbsp;so much.&amp;nbsp; It's so sad, when you think about how everyone followed the xanga to myspace to facebook trend.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alright, well, go eat some pie and be happy.&lt;/P&gt;</description><comments>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/576926068/3141592653589/#firstcomment</comments></item><item><title>Junior Year: when AP no longer stands for "Asian Pride"</title><link>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/532218130/junior-year-when-ap-no-longer-stands-for-asian-pride/</link><guid>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/532218130/junior-year-when-ap-no-longer-stands-for-asian-pride/</guid><pubDate>Sun, 24 Sep 2006 23:27:52 GMT</pubDate><description>&lt;P&gt;I'm not one to say I've been doing&amp;nbsp;well for the past two years, but this year is definitly the cliff on my road to college (if that's even probable).&amp;nbsp; As a matter of a fact, I'm doing so poorly I can't even come up with a decent metaphor to compare junior year with -- and that shows you exactly how well I'm doing in AP Lang, right?&amp;nbsp; Well,&amp;nbsp;stereotypically Asians have always somewhat earned better grades as a group (though not too frequently individually) than other ethnic groups.&amp;nbsp;Now, if you aren't Asian, don't plan on jumping me for saying that,&amp;nbsp;because your turn to rise to the top is here!&amp;nbsp; A large number of my Asian friends that I've talked to admit to having failed or almost failed at least half of their beginning-of-the-year AP tests.&amp;nbsp; And that doesn't even reach "Asian failing," where&amp;nbsp;his/her&amp;nbsp;super&amp;nbsp;Asian parent will&amp;nbsp;nearly kick him/her out of the house, but won't actually do it so that they won't have to deal&amp;nbsp;with the&amp;nbsp;authorities&amp;nbsp;(aka a B+, which in my opinion is a GREAT grade).&amp;nbsp; So now all the Asians are dropping what were once called "Asian Pride" classes, and we all look like a bunch of idiots.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But anyways, there's only one&amp;nbsp;thing I'd really like to say about all of this, and that is:&amp;nbsp;THANK YOU CURVES.&lt;/P&gt;</description><comments>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/532218130/junior-year-when-ap-no-longer-stands-for-asian-pride/#firstcomment</comments></item><item><title>school is where the cool kids go.</title><link>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/526755535/school-is-where-the-cool-kids-go/</link><guid>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/526755535/school-is-where-the-cool-kids-go/</guid><pubDate>Thu, 07 Sep 2006 00:55:26 GMT</pubDate><description>&lt;P&gt;So, do we even have any freshmen this year?&amp;nbsp; The sad fact is, there are more freshmen this year than there were last year (this year's sophomores), yet they definitly don't stand out as much.&amp;nbsp; I mean standing out in bad way, if you couldn't get the hint.&amp;nbsp; That goes to show exactly how much the class of 2009&amp;nbsp;has managed to piss off 2008.&amp;nbsp; However, this doesn't apply to all the sophomores (sophomores already?!), so don't come blundering after me, hunting me down&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;the little sense of direction you have, if any.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other than that, the only thing new at school is that goshdarnded FLEX schedule. Oops, I mean "LS;" because that obviously makes it sound so much cooler.&amp;nbsp; The funny thing is that "LS" has been screwing over the teachers more than the students because they're so uncomfortable with change.&amp;nbsp; And what's with having&amp;nbsp; a pep rally tomorrow? On the third day of school? Is this some sort of strategy to get the freshmen excited to enter high school, because the administration obviously failed to do so with the upper classes?&amp;nbsp; Well, whatever the point of it is, at least we won't have to be in class.&lt;/P&gt;</description><comments>http://mij-miki.xanga.com/526755535/school-is-where-the-cool-kids-go/#firstcomment</comments></item></channel></rss>
