| | I'm not one to say I've been doing well for the past two years, but this year is definitly the cliff on my road to college (if that's even probable). As a matter of a fact, I'm doing so poorly I can't even come up with a decent metaphor to compare junior year with -- and that shows you exactly how well I'm doing in AP Lang, right? Well, stereotypically Asians have always somewhat earned better grades as a group (though not too frequently individually) than other ethnic groups. Now, if you aren't Asian, don't plan on jumping me for saying that, because your turn to rise to the top is here! A large number of my Asian friends that I've talked to admit to having failed or almost failed at least half of their beginning-of-the-year AP tests. And that doesn't even reach "Asian failing," where his/her super Asian parent will nearly kick him/her out of the house, but won't actually do it so that they won't have to deal with the authorities (aka a B+, which in my opinion is a GREAT grade). So now all the Asians are dropping what were once called "Asian Pride" classes, and we all look like a bunch of idiots. But anyways, there's only one thing I'd really like to say about all of this, and that is: THANK YOU CURVES. |
